University Partnership Enhances Speech and Language Support in Baby Rooms

This innovative project brings together academic expertise and practical childcare experience to address how early years settings can best support speech and language development in their youngest children. Working specifically within baby rooms—environments caring for children from birth to age two—the partnership is identifying effective techniques that practitioners can use during everyday interactions to encourage communication, listening, and early vocabulary.
